Short Description
MED-MOBIL intends to create a framework of cooperation aiming to facilitate the exchange of students, professionals and young entrepreneurs in the Mediterranean area by supporting future regulations and improving and consolidating existing programmes and initiatives.
Through the participation of six countries (namely Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Spain) the project will organize, among many other activities, seminars and training sessions in all the partner´s countries and will test 192 short mobilities. The seminars will focus on exchange of best practices on mobility programs and the training sessions will target mobility agents or professionals interested to gain knowledge in this area.
The final aim is to contribute to a sustainable and harmonious cooperation process and promote dialogue in the Mediterranean Sea Basin by supporting and improving mobility, exchanges, training and professionalism of young people, facilitating cultural, social and economic exchange. MED-MOBIL will also contribute to enhance cultural, social and economic cohesion and to make the Mediterranean Sea Basin capable to compare with other geographical areas. MED-MOBIL intends to promote solid "Mediterranean" joint cooperation programmes (of mobility and cultural, social and economic exchange) among different countries, going beyond the limits of the common bilateral cooperation, usually led by the EU.
