The University College of Applied Sciences hosted second training workshop on using online tools to assess lower and higher order skills in 1st year large enrolment classes in the activities of “Transforming Assessment Practices in Large Enrollment First Year Education” TAP project that funded by the European Union Erasmus + program, in presence and participation of UCAS academic staff.
The training started on 13 August 2018 for three days. It aimed to train the UCAS academic staff on modern assessment practices and course design and implementation process.
The training included sessions on modern assessment practices, the intended learning outcomes approach, alignment of content and assessment with the learning outcomes, using technology tools to support assessment practices in large classes. The training presenter Ms. Aya Elmashharawi shared with UCAS staff sample courses designed through the project.
At the end of the training, the participants of UCAS staff received copies of the training materials that will shared with their colleagues at UCAS.
