UCAS granted two positions within Erasmus+ CBHE program

University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) has recorded new achievement on the level of international cooperation. Where it has received funding from the European Commission to implement two international projects within Erasmus+ + KA2 program in the field of capacity building of higher education.
Prof. Rifat Rustom, UCAS rector, expressed his happiness for this achievement as distinguished step that seeks to develop the higher education systems and encourage the professional relationships with the Palestinian and European HEIs.

Where it’s not the first time, UCAS has granted a position of project coordinator to implement the entitled project “Palestinian Research and Library Platform (PALIB)“ and will be carried out over three years from October 2019 to November 2022.
PALIB aims to enhance the capacity building of high education in terms of widening literature resources of Palestinian students, academicians, and researchers by building a cross-platform that has two main goals/gates.

And as a partner, UCAS has granted funding within a project proposed by Al-Quds Open University. The project entitled “Boosting Innovation in Education aNd REsearch oF Precision AgriculTure in Palestine”, which aims to develop curricula for the specialization of agriculture including methods of agriculture, irrigation and fertilization in the Palestinian Universities.
