UCAS team, the Palestinian partner of the HELIOS project, held an important meeting with the ministry of economy to reach and to involve industrial sectors in HELIOS project activities.
This meeting was fundamental to strengthen the cooperation with the local authorities in the field of supporting NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training) in Blue and Circular Economy, two sectors of potential growth capable of absorbing new workers.
For this reason, the Palestinian Ministry of the economy will support HELIOS activities, such as participating in a workshop with the labor market and training activities towards enhancing the implementation of Blue and circular economy practices.
Note that the HELIOS project will equip NEETs with labor market-driven skills and competencies in the field of Blue and circular economy.
For HELIOS getting in touch with the local authorities and the labor market is very important, above all to increase together with the social inclusion action in Palestine, making the involvement of young people and women more effective.
