HELIOS is a project funded thanks to the support received by the European Union through the ENI CBC Med Programme.
Total budget of the project: € 2,791,437.46 EU contribution: € 2,512,293.72.
University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS), partner of “HELIOS” project (co-financed under the ENI-CBC MED 2014-2020 programme) is looking for Monitoring and evaluation consultant who will be appointed as a part of the HELIOS project.
Background
Project HELIOS aims to help tackle social exclusion and poverty among vulnerable groups (i.e. NEETs and Women of all ages) by identifying the sector with greatest potential for growth and job opportunities for these target groups to meet those sector needs through training activities and cross border traineeships in complains.
The project aims to increase employability in young people belonging to NEETs and women in the Mediterranean by providing these target groups with marketable skills to prepare them for skill-based occupations in the field of Blue and Circular Economy.
HELIOS partners believe that the “NEET phenomenon” can be tackled and reduced through the implementation of concrete actions.
The project has the following activities: NEETs profiling, economic sector profiling, curricula creation, training and coaching, e-platform development, and sharing of best practices among partners in two of the most relevant sectors in the Mediterranean economy, namely Blue and Circular Economy, which can participate in generating jobs opportunities for young people and women in Mediterranean countries.
Scope of the service
Under the supervision of the HELIOS project team, the specific roles and responsibilities are:
- Production of video (script writing, interviews, videography, editing, audio balancing, subtitling, format exporting, archiving raw and edited work etc.).
- All videos produced must be of the highest quality to adequately represent the organization.
- Conduct interviews for staff, expert and participant before and during events
- Prepare a promotional video for the HELIOS platform which will be advertised social media.
- Record and edit narration/ voice over where needed in according with guidance from relevant key.
- Develop digital content for social media in collaboration with the communication team
- Embed sub-titles in the video as per need.
- Write news and uploaded it on Facebook and website.
- Archive the edited output in an external hard disk along with professional log.
Expected outputs/Deliverables:
- Coverage of the project activities
- Develop digital content for social media in collaboration with the communication team
- Ensure live feed for streaming across social media and web site.
- Provide simultaneous pictures and short videos
- Production of 5 training videos.
Minimum Requirements of the service provider
- Service provider – either individual or firm – should meet the following:
- 5 years of working experience in press writing, videography/video editing, photography, TV shows.
- Demonstrated experience of conception, production and editing of mini video documentaries.
- knowledge of traditional and new media
- Expertise in conducting innovative, creative and quality Media productions
- Professional photography, Graphic designing,
- Publications and written text for distribution across media channels.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
Duration of the Work
- The duration of contract should start from1st September 2021 until the end of the project ensuring efficient implementation and accomplishment of the activities within lifecycle of the contract.
- The consultant will work closely with communication staff from UCAS and will timely submit and share the progress of activities as will agreed.
