The kick off meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Boosting Innovation in Education And Research Of Precision Agriculture In Palestine (BENEFIT)” was successfully conducted at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Slovakia from 4th to 6th of March 2020.
The initial kick-off meeting was attended by representative from all partners Al-Quds Open University – Applicant; University of Ruse Angel Kanchev; Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra; University of Patras; Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice; Al-Istiqlal University; Palestinian Technical University-Kadoorie; An Najjah National university; University College of Applied Sciences and Hebron University
The main aims of the project, milestones, schedule as well as tasks related to the outcomes of the project were discussed. The formal and informal part of the discussion provided enough room for the detailed description of the project outcomes, understanding the roles and tasks of each partner.
Its worth to mention that BENEFIT aims to develop curricula for the specialization of agriculture including methods of agriculture, irrigation and fertilization in the Palestinian Universities.
