BITPAL Virtual Impact Monitoring Meeting carried out by the NEO team

On 9th March, The Director of the National Erasmus+ Office, Dr. Nedal Jayousi, the Program Officer – Ms. Iman Al-Hemri, and the Office Manager – Ms. Nashwa Darwish conducted a virtual Impact monitoring meeting to the CBHE funded project; Boosting Innovation in Curricula Development of IT Programs in Palestine, with the presence of UCAS rector, Prof Rifat Rustom, BITPAL team at UCAS and all partners: Islamic University Of Gaza (IUG), Al-Azhar University, Gaza (AUG), Al-Aqsa University (AQU), Gaza University (GU), Palestinian Information Technology Association Of Companies (PITA), Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK), University of Calabria (UNICAL), and Faculty of Information Studies (FIS).
Dr. Nedal Jayousi together with Prof. Rifat Rustom opened the meeting and welcomed participants. Dr. Jayousi clarified the main aim of the meeting which is knowing the impact and sustainability of the project after it had achieved its objectives.
The project coordinator presented an overview of BITPAL Project; main aim and objectives, main work packages, and the main Outputs. the partners talked in detail about the implemented activities of the project, and the fruitful experience working on this project. The project coordinator and partners also presented the key results of the project such as; Curricula development, BITPAL as a Capacity building programs, Competence centers, and also Entrepreneurship and Freelancing Course.
The meeting was ended up by a discussion and questions; Dr. Jayousi also discussed with coordinators the impact and sustainability of the outcomes of the project as executed activities on land.
