BITPAL organized the final workshop on “Evaluation of Curriculum Development Process”

On 12 October 2019, University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) organized the final workshop on “Evaluation of Curriculum Development Process” in framework of Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE project “Boosting Innovation in Curricula Development of Information Technology programs in Palestine (BITPAL)”.
Participants from BITPAL partners: University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS), Islamic University of Gaza (IUG), Al-Azhar University (AUG), Al-Aqsa University (AQU), Gaza University (GU), Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies (PITA), and representatives of students and the Palestinian incubators in Gaza attended the workshop at UCAS.

Prof. Rifat Rustom, the UCAS Rector, welcomed the attendance and expressed his appreciation and to all efforts during BITPAL life cycle to achieve it work packages and proceeding the project work.; he added that this project is one of the most important projects coordinated by UCAS which enhance the relationship between the local and international universities.
The project coordinator, Dr. Ahmed Abdalaal highlighted the aim of the workshop on presenting BITPAL final Results and Achievements  and well as suggesting the recommendations to ensure its sustainability.

The first session of the workshop started by discussing the Curriculum Development Process (Prof. Alaa Al-Halees IUG), Entrepreneurship and Freelancing Course (Eng. Basel Qandeel – BTI incubator)

JUSUR Portal and Online Lectures (Prof. Sami Abu Nasser _ AUG) as well as the Incubation of Students’ Projects (Dr. Said Al-Zebdeh _ UCASTI incubator).

The second session resumed by talking about the training missions and Incubators’ Ambassadors (Dr. Ibrahim Sokar _ GU) and finally the Competency Centers (Eng. Lina Shamia).

Each presenter closed his/her section with recommendations and suggestions to be taken into account after BITPAL completion.
