UCAS hosted training workshop on “Instructional Video Creation Using Camtasia Studio 2018″

The University College of Applied Sciences hosted an intense full day training workshop on “Instructional Video Creation Using Camtasia Studio 2018, within the framework activities of TAP project that funded by the European Union Erasmus + Program.
The participants involved in this training were from El-Aqsa University and University College of Applied Sciences as partner institutions in the project.
In the first session, the training presenter Mrs. Aya El-Mashharawi focused mainly on:
·       Introducing the pedagogical benefits of creating instructional videos
·       Shedding light on what is Camtasia and why selecting it as a powerful digital tool for creating professional instructional videos
·       Providing helpful recommendations for creating an effective educational video
·       Showing a sample of her own instructional video
In the second session, Mrs. Mashharawi showed practically the participants how to create a video on Camtasia focusing on the following systematic steps:
·       Choosing a topic and preparing the material
·       Introducing the tools panel of Camtasia Studio 2018
·       Recording the screen activities and capturing the footages
·        Starting the project Montag and importing the recordings as well as different media
·       Editing the video and adding lots of additional professional features including visual, audio, transitional, and behavioral effects, etc.
·       Exporting and sharing the video
In the last session, the participants had a hands-on opportunity to produce their own video projects facilitated by the trainer.
