On January 14, 2019, the Director of the National Erasmus+ Office, Dr. Nedal Jayousi, conducted an advisory field monitoring mission to the CBHE funded project 574131-EPP-1-2016-1-PS-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP Boosting Innovation in Curricula Development of IT Programs in Palestine (BITPAL) with the presence of the UCAS President, Prof. Refat Rustom. All partners attended the meeting; from Palestine: University College of Applied Sciences (the Coordinator of the project), Alaqsa University, Al Azhar University Gaza, Islamic University of Gaza and The Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies (PITA). EU partners (via Skype): Fakulteta Za Informaijeske Studije V Novem Mestu, SI, Hochschule Für Technik Wirtschaft Und Kultur Leipzig, DE, Università Della Calabria, IT.
The aim of the visit was to learn more about the activities realized and products developed so far and to observe any issues in the implementation and discuss remedial actions and future planning. The visit mainly aimed at looking at the outputs and achievements of the operational objectives of the project to-date, and at drawing out the reality of the project environment regarding how it is being implemented.
The meeting was followed by a Field Monitoring Visit to the International Credit Mobility at the University College of Applied Sciences and the Islamic University of Gaza with the presence of the beneficiary stakeholders at the universities (students and staff).
The visit mainly aimed at looking at the outputs of the mobilities carried out so far and the main difficulties during the implementation of these mobilities.
