The University College of Applied Science UCAS and Super Novae conducted the first preparatory management meeting to coordinate the newly granted ETTIHAD project “Supporting immediate income-generating activities for women in Gaza”. In this project, UCAS as a training provider cooperates with Super Novae, which is an International Non-Profit dedicated to supporting economic stabilization and revitalization in fragile contexts through the professional integration and entrepreneurship of young people, including beneficiaries facing specific marginalization challenges such as former fighters, migrants, IDPs, and women.
ETTIHAD will support 100 women in the Gaza Strip through vocational training, coaching sessions, and basic business training for them to launch income-generating activities. It will also enhance women’s subsistence in a safe, dignified, and resilient manner by facilitating women with the most promising projects and access to the market through basic business training, seed funds, and visibility activities.
